Description: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning to award a contract to support the Department of Transportation/Federal Aviation Administration Office of Security and Hazardous Materials Safety's (ASH). ASH has the primary responsibility for security and critical-infrastructure protection, emergency operations, contingency planning, intelligence activities, and the safe transportation of hazardous materials in air commerce. The FAA anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for two base years, with three one year options. The award will be made under a Tiered competition. All interested parities are invited to submit proposals. Interested parties must submit their responses to this SIR no later than 5:00 P.M. Daylight Savings Time (DST) on April 3, 2017, either electronically or via hard copy to the following address: Federal Aviation Administration, Headquarters, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20591, Rm. 408, ATTN: Ms. Elisa Brown, Contracting Officer, AAQ-450 or Elisa.Brown@faa.gov. All interest parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or costs incurred which are associated with any response from this Screening Information Request (SIR). Therefore, any cost associated with SIR submissions will be solely at the interested party 冱 expense.
