- Sources Sought/ Request for Information - Nash Relief Wells (located northwest of Delta, MO). This market survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of firms interested in participating in the competition to compete and perform a fixed price construction contract. The Government will not pay for any information provided as a result of this market survey. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District is planning to solicit/award a contract to experienced source(s) capable of performing a wide range of construction contracts. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for the construction of 42 new relief wells to include drilling, installation and testing of new relief wells and related equipment; drilling and sampling of 42 pilot holes and performing laboratory soil sieve tests; constructing new collector ditches to convey the well discharge flows; constructing well benches; modifying existing ditches; proper placement of excess material in the excavated material disposal areas. The project site is located northwest of Delta, MO in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The proposed construction area is located along the right descending bank of the Little River Diversion Channel on the Little River Drainage District Right of Way (ROW). All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this sources sought synopsis. The Government is requesting interested contractors to furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address: (2) Type of Business (small, small disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, women-owned or HubZone small business concerns); (3) State your bonding capacity as of date of your response. All responses will be reviewed for preliminary planning purposes in determining future acquisition strategy. (4) Provide no more than five (5) references, of most recent and relevant contracts, performed within the last three (3) years of work same/similar in nature to this requirement. Include name, address, telephone number, and email address of references. Also provide a brief description of work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Submission of information should be limited to not more than five (5) pages. Please provide affirmation that your firm can comply with the following minimum requirements: FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, which requires a small business concern perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $36.5 million. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The U. S.
