Description
A. Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section B. B. Ground Penetrating Radar Technology Development Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground-Belvoir Division intends to negotiate a contract modification exclusively with Non-Intrusive Inspection Technology (NIITEK) under Contract No. W909MY-14-C-0021. The contract provides for development and sustainment of the Army's downward-looking Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technologies to achieve advanced capabilities for real time detection of buried high and low metal antitank (AT) land mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from ground based vehicles moving at tactical speeds in support of route clearance missions. The proposed modification will extend the performance period by 23 months from the expiration of the option period and increase the contract ceiling to allow for continuing work focused on the further refinement of the technologies, addressing integration and interoperability with supplemental sensors, and production of a Technological Readiness Level (TRL) 6 prototype for integration into HMDS as a potential Technical Insertion. C. Responses: All interested parties should notify this office by e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include: (I) To what extent each of the specifications can be met.
