Description
THE SOLICITATION IS STILL CURRENTLY BEING DRAFTED THERE MAY BE CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK: STATEMENT OF WORK Purpose: Data Disposal services at PNSDETSD References: a) NISPOM 5220.22-M b) DoDM 5200.01, Vol. 3 c) DoDM 5200.01, Vol. 4 d) NAVSEAINST 5510.04 Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance issued through the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) is required. Visit Authorization Request (VAR) listing each cleared employee authorized to process Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Det San Diego's material shall be provided each year. At no time will a third-party nor a non-cleared person facilitate the handling and destruction of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego's material. Additionally, RapidGate is required for entry onto the base and enclave. Material to be shredded: Paper, cardboard, floppy disks, CD-ROM/DVD platters, microfilm/microfiche and audio cassettes including Mylar, vellum (engineering drawings) and video cassettes (VHS). The process shall be able to handle conventional staples and paperclips. Shredding/disintegration Equipment: 100% of the collected material is destroyed via disintegration approved equipment contained in the applicable NSA EPL. Shredding specifications: The material is destroyed in a manner consistent with NISPOM/NSA requirements per Chapter 5 section 705 of Reference (a), classified material destruction per Reference (b) and controlled unclassified material destruction per Reference (c). If services are ordered from an existing NAVSEA Contract vehicle such as a BPA contract, then follow Reference (d) policy. The period of performance: The schedule for this service is bi-weekly; every other Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from the hours of 0800-1200 or 0900-1300. Period of Performance will be for 1 full year from the award start date of contract. Request start 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 with options to renew. Location of services: The destruction of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego's material is performed on-site, at Naval Base Point Loma, Ballast Point, South Pier. Destruction services shall be required to be on location for the established four hour period and restricted to a maximum of four hours for any scheduled visit. *National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
