- Draft Exhibits - Pricing Schedule Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITAION. (Former Reference # for this sources sought: FA5209-13-T-0066 and FA5209-15-R-0024) This is to identify sources that can perform Transport of OW/OS Freight by Truck-tractor with Semitrailer in Japan. Firms who are interested should respond electronically to Ms Sonomi Yoshihashi via email at sonomi.yoshihashi.jp@us.af.mil by 31 Mar 2017 including the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) a point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email; (3) CAGE code and DUNS number (if available). DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish services for transporting Government-owned/controlled OW/OS freight by the Contractor's truck-tractors with lowbed semitrailers as set forth in the contract, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and applicable Government of Japan laws and trade practices. TYPE OF FREIGHT: The Contractor shall transport bulky or heavy freight to include vehicles and material handling equipment that exceed the loading capacity/limitations of a 12 ton flatbed truck. TYPES OF LOWBED SEMITRAILERS: The Contractor shall furnish lowbed semitrailers having 16 to 36-ton loading capacity/capability. ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE DATE: 1 Aug 2017 or 30 days After Date of Award thru 31 Jul 2018 with Four (4) one-year Options (subject to change) NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not considered a commitment by the government. The government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this sources sought. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). It is the responsibility of the potential offers to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government.
