- This notice is provided as an update to the original special notice for the PM DCGS-A Battalion Echelon Market Research. The government's analysis of the Paper and draft BN requirements spreadsheet submitted in response to the initial market research posting has concluded. In an effort to support the Government's market research further, the Government is pursuing a voluntary product demonstration in order to help validate the sufficiency of the operational requirements in being satisfied by a commercial item or military purpose non-developmental item Battalion Solution. Following the conclusion of the voluntary product demonstration, a competitive procurement is planned that will be open to all interested vendors. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this notice, please address them to Ms. Prettina Biedenkapp at prettina.j.biedenkapp.civ@mail.mil and CPT Dean Tallant at dean.w.tallant.mil@mail.mil. Note: This RFI remains as being issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The Government does not authorize any work to be performed by contractors at this time and shall not pay or reimburse contractors for their voluntary attendance at the demonstration. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Not participating to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
