Description
Attachment 1- Performance Work Statement UET Solicitation M67854-17-R-7800 The Marine Corps Systems Command has a requirement for Underwater Egress Training (UET). The mission of the UET program is to train Marines and other authorized personnel how to egress from sinking or submerged platforms (i.e., aircraft, amphibious, and ground vehicles), including the use of life support equipment, e.g., Supplemental Emergency Breathing Devices (SEBDs) and Life Preserver Units (LPUs) to increase survival rates. Without this training, Marines could be rendered non-deployable. The contractor shall provide sufficient manpower, technical expertise, logistics support, and management oversight to satisfy the requirements to conduct the UET POIs. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment (other than GFP), tools and test equipment, and transportation in order to operate and maintain the UET training devices, facilities and GFP in a RFT Condition. All training devices and equipment will be maintained through the completion of preventive maintenance and/or corrective maintenance activities. The contractor shall ensure all requirements of this UET PWS and appendices are fulfilled, to include at a minimum: • UET training systems scheduled for training are RFT prior to all scheduled training events • Contractor workforce is properly trained and equipped to complete required tasks • GFP is maintained, inventoried, and accountability documented, and • All UET training systems and devices are restored to RFT at the completion of all maintenance tasks.
