- This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This acquisition is SOLE SOURCE to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (JSNH Technology (CAGE 79SL1). Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Government furnished drawings, specifications, and special tooling are not available. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supply; FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, applies. The anticipated contract period will be a 12-month basic year with two (3) 12-month option periods for a projected total contract performance period of three (4) years. The approximate Request For Proposal (RFP) issue date is 21 March 2017 with a response date of 19 April 2017. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
