- This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2. This ACQUISITION is set aside for HubZone Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237310 and the Size Standard is $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFAR 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM); the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. This project will provide an asphalt-paved road surface for Enoch from Sputnik Street to the Base-X area, a distance of 3,500 feet. The proposed pavement section will consist of 4 inches of hot-mix bituminous asphalt concrete over 12 inches of aggregate base course. The existing asphalt millings can be re-used as a part of this project. However, the diameter of the existing millings is too variable to use as base course unless it is processed and mixed with new base course material. All pavements and aggregate base course will be designed and installed in accordance with CDOT standards and specifications. The location of this work will be performed at Schriever AFB, Colorado 80912-5006. The 50th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract with a 90 day period of performance for this project after Notice to Proceed. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. NOTES: 1. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the GPE on or about 17 April 2017 posted at https://www.fbo.gov. The tentative date for the receipt of proposals is 17 May 2017. A physical site visit for this project will be scheduled for all potential offerors, the time and date is yet to be determined but will be listed in the official solicitation. Physical copies of the solicitation and all accompanying specifications will not be provided. All documents for this project will be uploaded to https://www.fbo.gov. 2. The contractor shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 and acknowledge and/or sign all amendments at the time and place specified in the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. All proposals shall be delivered in the method and by the time specified in the SF 1442. Proposals delivered shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, contact number, the solicitation number, and the date and time the proposals are due. 3. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount. 4. Contractors that are debarred or suspended are excluded from receiving contracts.
