Description

Request for Bi-Directional Cycle and Workout Machine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this action. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ VA246-17-Q-0610. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov). The Network Contracting Office 6-SAO EAST intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order for a Bi-Directional Cycle and accessories and a Workout Machine to be delivered to the Hampton VAMC, 100 Emancipation Dr, Hampton, VA 23667. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1250 employees. This procurement is restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses and all eligible offerors may submit quotes. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract. The record must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications. Questions concerning this solicitation shall be addressed to Eileen Harris, Contracting Officer, and emailed to Eileen. Harris@va.gov. All questions or inquires must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard time on March 8, 2017. No phone calls will be accepted. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote is the lowest price and the beds are exactly what are required. Quotes are due by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard time on March 9, 2017. Quotes received after this date and time will be considered late in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Quotes shall be submitted via email to eileen.harris@va.gov. This combined solicitation/synopsis is for the purchase of the following commercial products: 1 each Bi-Directional Cycle that is an upper extremity ergometer 1 each Adjustable Height Cycle Table 1 each workout machine that is able to perform the following exercises from the wheelchair level: Lateral pull Seated row Hi/mid/low pulleys Arm curls Chest press/military press Articulating pectoralis strengthening Must meet needs of the spinal cord injury population of the Medical Center 1 Job: Equipment assembly, set up and training Please include pictures and/or brochures Please include FSS/GSA Contract Number if applicable.
