- The Billings Area Indian Health Services, Fort Peck Service Unit in Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana intends to award a non-competitive, sole-source contract to Nemont Telephone Co-Operative, Inc. Scobey, Montana, 59263-0000, for Telephone Services for Fort Peck Service Unit. The contractor, Nemont Telephone Co-Operative, Inc., is the only telephone service provider in the area of Poplar, MT and Wolf Point, MT. The purchase order shall consist of a 12 month period. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 1:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) March 21, 2017, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
