Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center Operations Division at the William J. Hughes Technical Center anticipates establishing a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) in the areas of: Section 1 - General Construction NAICS codes 236220, 238140, and 237110 1.1 Site-work 1.2 Concrete Masonry 1.3 General Section 2 - Mechanical / HVAC /Plumbing / Fire Protection and Suppression NAICS codes 238220 2.1 Mechanical / HVAC 2.2 Plumbing 2.3 Fire Protection and Suppression Section 3 “ Electrical NAICS codes 238210 and 237130 3.1 General Electrical Work 3.2 Telecommunications Systems 3.3 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems 3.4 Intrusion Detection CCTV and Secured Access Systems 3.5 Audio and Visual Systems 3.6 Environmental Humidity and Temperature Control Systems See Draft Statement of Work for further descriptions. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. Interested firms are required to submit a Capability Statement consisting of the following: -Number of years in business; -Type of services provided by your firm; -State licenses or trade-specific certifications; -Size and type of services provided by previous contracts; -Work experience with the FAA, if applicable; -Business Classification under each NAICS Previous experience should be limited to the last five years. Total page limitation for the Capability Statement is three pages “ font size 10, one-inch margins, single spaced. Be sure to include Business Name, Cage, and DUNS on submittal. This announcement is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for and is not liable for costs associated with the preparation and submittal of responses to this announcement. Any costs associated with the submission of a response to this request are solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in becoming a qualified source for the construction and related services referenced above. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether an adequate number of vendors exist to set-aside the potential QVL among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The FAA will consider all responses received. Please note, if a QVL is established, all interested vendors will need to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested vendors are asked to electronically submit their Capability Statement via email to stephanie.linck@faa.gov no later than 2 PM (EDT) March 20, 2017.
