- U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is sponsoring a Small Business Outreach Event to engage the vendor community. The event will be held at the USGS National Center April 5-6, 2017. USGS National Center-Peck Auditorium 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive Reston, VA 20192 Information on visiting the USGS National Center (parking, security protocols, etc.) can be found at https://www2.usgs.gov/visitors/. Upon entering the National Center Visitor Entrance, please follow the signs to the Peck Auditorium. Agenda Information: General Outreach Event: 8:00 a.m. ¿ 4:00 p.m. Wednesday Individual Appointments with the Small Business Specialist: 10:00 a.m. ¿ 12:00 p.m. Thursday USGS Program Managers, Contracting Specialists/Officers and Small Business Specialists are supporting this event. USGS-specific presentations and contract updates on open and future procurement opportunities will be provided. There will also be Speed Networking Event-opportunities for Small Businesses to meet and discuss capabilities, opportunities, etc. with various representatives from USGS. Please register for this event with an email to gs_smallbusiness@usgs.gov, this email should include the names of attendees (limit of 2) and if interested, request for a Thursday appointment to review corporate capabilities. Registration is limited to the first 125 individuals responding to this announcement. Please RSVP by FRI, 24 MAR.
