- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to issue a solicitation and award using full and open competition for a valve regulated lead acid based battery system with a climate controlled enclosure. The contractor supplied battery system shall provide an interface to Government supplied bi-directional 355VDC power distribution system components to supply battery-based backup power at 2200kW for five (5) minutes and provide power conditioning for the DC bus. The Contractor shall deliver the battery System as a turn-key package requiring minimal on-site assembly or reassembly. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 23 March 2017 and to close on or about 25 April 2017. The solicitation shall be available upon issuance at https://www.fbo.gov.
