- Boot, Fireman's, Black, 13" Steel Boot, Fireman's, Black, 13" Steel NSN: 8430-00-753-5935(s); Base Year - Option IV Term Quantity Requirements: MIN - 1,500 pairs; MAX - 5,000 pairs. MIN (pr) AEQ (pr)* MAX (pr) Base 1,500 2,400 5,000 Option I 1,500 2,400 5,000 Option II 1,500 2,400 5,000 Option III 1,500 2,400 5,000 Option IV 1,500 2,400 5,000 *Annual Estimated Quantity Destination: VSTN Peckham. Items to be manufactured in accordance with CID A-A-50371B dated 28 July 2001. Production lead time is 120 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following factors: Product Demonstration Model (PDM), Past Performance Confidence Assessment, and Small Business Support. One award will be made for the total quantities listed above. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of these solicitations or solicitation amendments. Solicitations will be posted on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. Detailed system requirements and instructions for registration can be found on the DLA DIBBS Home Page accessed on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
