- (Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.) The Embassy of the United States in Moscow, Russian Federation will issue a solicitation for masonry services to be performed at the Embassy and also at its residential locations. This is an indefinite-quantity contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule. For each year of the contract, the U.S. Government guarantees total task orders to be a minimum of $5,000. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year option periods at the complete discretion of the Government. The contractor shall provide the U.S. Embassy Moscow with stone and brick work, walls and floor repair services, and ceramic tile replacement services to include some materials, in accordance with mandatory safety requirements. Services may include the brick replacement, joints repair, slab floor removal, surface preparation, and ceramic tile replacement services for Embassy common, recreational and work areas, as well as for residences (kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, etc). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation during the month of March 2017. Again, this solicitation will be issued via this website and on the Embassy's website at: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/bids.html. Note: The response date in this FEDBIZOPPS is not a firm date, please see the RFP for the actual date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
