- Description
- The Department of Justice, Environmental and Natural Resources Division (ENRD), intends to procure installation and monthly service of a high speed internet circuit in our Patrick Henry Building located on 601 D Street, NW, Washington, DC. ENRD is seeking high speed Internet service with a synchronous 100mbps circuit. Contractor will work with building property management at 601 D Street, NW to secure access and any necessary building permission/permits. Circuit will be terminated in the 601 D Street Computer Room located on the 10th floor. Contractor will splice fiber from existing ring in PEPCO manhole. Fibers will be terminated in data room D-mark in the 10th floor Computer Room. Equipment outlined in section C will be installed and port will be activated for Internet Service. Deliverables: 1-installation of a high speed Internet circuit; 2-provide a list of all power requirements necessary to complete the circuit installation; 3- install Telco 340 terminating device in existing rack; 4- Spreadsheet to include all line item costs for the installation of the circuit must minimally include project start date, construction timeframes are determined by permitting process, fiber proofing (identifying fiber to the installation location), splice work and quality assurance work once path is completed, the standard interval for installation is 12 weeks however the project time can be delayed due to fiber availability project end date. ENRD will supply 120 AC - Outlet and provide router/modem for network connection. Equipment costs for any modem/router/switch or other necessary hardware. At the close of installation, ENRD will have a fully functioning Internet circuit tested and confirmed with throughput speeds as designated in the contract. Services will be for a 12-month Base Year and two 12-month Option Years. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, FAR clauses 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions-Simplified Acquisitions (Other Than Commercial Items), 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services, and 52.217-9 Option to Extern the Term of the Contract, are hereby incorporated by reference; all referenced FAR clauses may be copied at https://www.acquisition.gov/. Interested parties must submit a written quote that demonstrates the ability to provide regular, recurring uninterrupted access to the Internet. Vendors must be fully and actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM); SAM is a free web-site which consolidates Federal procurement systems, SAM https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Quotes must include DUNS and are to be sent to Michele B. Spencer to email address michele.b.spencer@usdoj.gov; 5pm ET by March 13, 2017. Award will be made to the quote that represents the best value to the government and price. Oral quotations will not be accepted. Telephone calls will not be accepted, as no solicitation document exist.
