- Description
- The Shoshone National Forest is advertising for interested contractors to provide proposals on a performance based multiple award IDIQ contract for a base with two, one-year options. The anticipated contract will be for road maintenance, road decommissioning, and construction and related services. Work may be performed at any location within the North Zone (Wapiti, Greybull, and Clarks Fork Ranger Districts) of the Shoshone National Forest. Work includes maintenance, general road, bridge and structure work: • Road: Work includes maintenance, repair and reconstruction of native surface, gravel or paved roads; minor culvert installation; pit run and aggregate base installation; road repair due to damage from human or natural causes; construction of drainage dips and boulder placement. • Road decommissioning: Work includes de-compaction, partial or full re-contour to restore the roadway to a hydrological stable condition; removal of drainage structures and associated fill to restore site to natural contour; work may include excavation of stream channels without drainage structures; and the construction of waterbars. • Bridge: Work includes installation of riprap. • Related work includes signs; closure devices such as gates and cattleguard cleaning. • Campgrounds: maintaining roads in the project area to prevent rutting, maintaining road prism and drain structures, placement of boulders, and road and spur improvements in campgrounds. The ceiling price of awarded contracts will not exceed $500,000.00 dollars over the three year period covered under the base with two one-year options. Anticipate award is mid-May 2017. Three awards were previously made under this program for the period 5/01/2014 through 4/30/2017: AG-8544-C-14-0001 Triple A Buildings Services, Inc. Nine orders were placed under this period for an awarded summary of $295,390.60; AG-8544-C-14-0002 Cameron Boni Construction, three orders were placed during this period for an awarded summary of $138,626.52; and AG-8544-C-14-0003 Jim Brittain dba Brittain Farming and Hauling, five orders were placed under this period for an awarded summary of $120,121.55. The Solicitation is anticipated to be posted on or about March 15, 2017. Solicitation will be advertised as a total small business set-aside. A Pre-proposal meeting/conference will be held at the Wapiti Ranger District Office, 203 Yellowstone Avenue, Cody, WY 82414. Time and date to be determined. The use of bio-based products is anticipated in the performance of the contract.
