- Statement of Work RFQ Please see the attached documents for complete details. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations, ship Pisces, located at 151 Watts Ave., Pascagoula, MS 39567 requires the removal and replacement of two defective Vulkan Couplings, two generator bearings, and two bearing brackets in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Repairs must be made by CATERPILLAR authorized technicians and shall be performed in such a manner that the manufacturer's warranty on parts and labor is not voided. The period of performance shall be March 20, 2017 through March 24, 2017. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 3:00 P.M. EST on March 16, 2017; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on past performance and price. Past Performance is more important than price. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on March 13, 2017. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. The anticipated award date is on or about March 17, 2017. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.
