Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia will be soliciting offers for American Power Conversion (APC) Certified Service on Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). The contractor shall perform general maintenance of APC brand UPS on two kw UPS s in the main data center. Maintenance shall include all parts and labor, overload evaluation, load calculations, check bypass operations, as well as to furnish and install additional UPS frame, and up to (4) APC SYBT4 battery modules/cabinets. A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-0588 will be issued on or about March 7, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is (date of award) through September 30, 2017 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 million. The classification code is J059. The solicitation will be issued as a Small-Business Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
