- The US Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for the complete refurbishment and crating of Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) Tanker Armor Module (TAM) Kits (hereafter referred to as asset) for Red River Army Depot (RRAD). Contractor shall receive an asset that is either M978 HEMTT TAM NSN 2540‐01‐542‐0885 (TAN) or NSN 2540-01-542-0889 (GREEN). Contractor shall repair the asset and return it to condition code "A" (Serviceable/Issuable without qualifications, new, used, repaired or reconditioned material that is serviceable and issuable without limitations or restrictions), NSN 2540‐01‐542‐0885 (TAN), crated and ready for return into the supply system; adhering to the procedures/standards contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the applicable technical standards and publications. In order to ensure timely inspection and delivery of containers, the contractor and any subcontractors must be located within a 100 mile radius of RRAD. The solicitation will be a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures for the award of a contract. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price, Requirements type contract with three ordering years. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 15 days after issuance of this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
