- The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Global Health Protection intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, in accordance with FAR Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures, to the EuroImmun US, 1 Bloomfield Ave., Mountain Lakes, New Jersey 07046. The diagnostic tests kits provided by EuroImmun are required for the identification of Zika and other pathogens of concern for the Zika pregnancy and surveillance studies to be conducted in Guatemala. These specific kits are only available in Guatemala through the company Labymed. The products are difficult to obtain in Guatemala but this specific vendor has the precise items required for Zika and other pathogen testing. No other vendor has the ability to meet these qualifications. No Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their credentials and ability to provide the services, via e-mail, to vfz7@cdc.gov. Include reference number (2017-08214). Please submit any responses by March 14, 2017.
