Description

The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 3 to the Prospectus soliciting proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate a visitation reservation system and on-site parking management service at Muir Woods National Monument. This Amendment No. 3 notifies interested parties of a draft Environmental Assessment (Draft EA) which is now open for public review and comment until March 17, 2017. The subject of the Draft EA is a project to replace aging water and wastewater service lines at Muir Woods National Monument. This project represents another step in ongoing planning related to improvement projects at Muir Woods, as referenced i the "Specific Park Considerations under the Draft Contract" section of the Prospectus Business Opportunity. The estimated impact of improvement projects on the concession operation has been reflected in the financial projections given in the Prospectus for the term of the Draft Contract.
