- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses, including 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturers, or distributors of small business manufacturers, or veteran-owned small businesses capable of providing the exact match or functionally equivalent equipment to the following products: ThermaCor 1200 Rapid Thermal Infuser PTC-1200 Cassette, Patient Line, Triple Spike Line, 4 Boxes of Qty. 5 Equipment is a rapid thermal infusion system and must meet the following salient characteristics: Shall have a one-step setup cassette process Shall be available for transport use for 2 hours minimum or better Maximum fluid warming temperature shall be 45 degrees Celsius or better Maximum flow shall be 1200 ml/min or better Shall be capable of maintaining heating and full flow rate for 30 minutes or better Maximum size shall be W8.75 x H16.5 x D13 or better Shall have pressure controlled flow with the option of 2 settings minimum, ranging from 100 mmHg to 300 mmHg Shall allow the administration of programmed boluses and automatically return to the previous flow rate once the bolus is complete Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this or similar product. Please include your business size with your submittal. If providing a submittal and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer) contractors shall also submit proof of authorization to distribute from the manufacturer of the offered equipment. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Responses are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on March 13th, 2017.
