- Hanger Electrical Diagram Seating Diagram RFI THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. 1. Introduction. The 22d Contracting Squadron (22 CONS), McConnell AFB, KS, is conducting market research on capabilities and pricing of media support for a large event. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561920 or 711310. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice with information to support pricing and other technical details. 2. Background. The KC-46 Pegasus will be the next air frame added to the Air Force inventory. The arrival of this aircraft represents a significant event for both the Air Force and the local community. Media support will be required to support this event and pricing information is needed for budgeting. 3. Scope of Requirement : The following information is provided to assist with support of this requirement. Please be aware that this requirement is in early planning stages and is subject to change. It is the intent of the requiring activity to gather information to the maximum extent possible to best frame the requirement as it gains fidelity over time. Thus, the following assumptions are provided with the understanding that this information is for planning purposes only and subject to change. - Date and Time: Event is planned for fall 2017. All set-up should be done 24-hours in advance for thorough testing and - Location: a hangar at McConnell AFB, KS (see attach 1). While the hangars are indoor facilities, the large doors may present wind as a safety factor during the ceremony and screens should be secured accordingly. - Attendance: 1,500 - Required Contractor Support: - Portable bleacher set up for additional seating (size information requested) - One large main stage furnished and set-up (max size is 24'' x 32''). - One large media stage furnished and set-up (max size is 24'' x 32''). This is for press and media as well as operation of A/V equipment furnished by the contractor. - Seating to accommodate aisle seating - All stages will require drapes over the front, stairs, taping and rails for safety, and carpeted where appropriate. This is to ensure safety and maintain a professional appearance. - Audio visual support including multiple microphones, lighting, media projection. A band will be present along with a traditional narrator and key-note speakers. All will require microphones. - Video camera operation and closed-circuit broadcast to additional screens in adjacent areas and projection screens. There may be up to projection 10 screens for simultaneous broad-cast. - On-site technical support to assist with the operation of all equipment furnished 4. Information Requested. - What is the range of pricing for this requirement or what additional information is required to furnish a quote? - What is the set-up time and minimum lead-time for fulfilling this requirement? - What is the set-up and tear-down time estimate? Volunteer assistance may be available. - How many vehicles will be used and if there is required parking? - What site preparation is required to include electrical needs? - Any other pertinent information to include publicly available pricing or catalog information. - If you are unable to provide a response to this RFI, a suggestion of a company that may support this requirement is appreciated. 5. Questions. Questions are highly encouraged in response to this RFI. Questions and answers may be posted back to this RFI via FedBizOpps.gov. Questions may be sent to the POC listed below. 6. How to Respond. Provide responses of information in section 4 to the POC listed below. Include the following in your response: name, business address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address.
