Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has a requirement for daily waste collection/waste disposal/waste to energy services. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies to accomplish these services. Services include the removal of garbage and refuse from occupied spaces via loading dock or designated pickup locations. The buildings and the pickup frequency are indicated in Section C 5.1. The work also includes multiple stops at the same locations with multiple types of containers. The containers are a mix of Government furnished equipment and Contractor furnished equipment including trash totes, Compactors, open top dumpsters and top load 6 and 8 yard dumpsters. At various times the Government may direct the Contractor to eliminate certain scheduled waste pickups on particular days and times due to visits of Heads of State, Inaugural proceedings, etc. The contract period will be a base year and include a maximum of four, 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued approximately mid to late March 2017. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MONITOR THE FEDBIZOPS WEBSITE FREQUENTLY FOR ALL CHANGES!!
