- TRL 7 prototypes system can be delivered to the Government no later than June 15, 2017. The TRL 7 prototype shall meet the following requirements to be considered in the evaluation process: a. The functional fire control (FC) prototype shall be less than 4 lbs system weight. System weight includes the optics, LRF, weapon orientation sensors, electronics to operate the system, mounting adapters which includes weapon mount and enablers' mount, power source, cables, and controller. b. The FC prototype as a system can be mounted to M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS) or M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle (ESR) or Picatinny rail mount. c. The FC prototype shall have direct view optic with continuous magnification from no greater than 6X to no less than 20X with boresight adjustable passive reticle that provides constant aspect ratio within the magnification. d. The FC prototype shall have an incorporated laser range finder with eye-safe wavelength and divergence of no greater than 0.3 milliradian e. Incorporated display overlay capable of projecting active ballistic reticle in target space. f. The FC prototype must incorporate an anti-cant device. g. FC prototype must be able to communicate with Advanced Weather Station (AWS) (i.e. Kestrel 5700) for data transfer. h. The FC prototype must incorporate optical display of the ballistic solution from the ballistic engine. i. Vendor must identify in their proposal other built-in enablers in their FC prototypes, e.g. turret tracking sensor that displayed within the scope's field of view, environmental sensors, weapon orientation sensors, and other target acquisitions enablers that improve probability of hit. j. The FC prototype must work with I2, Mid-Wave, and Long-Wave In line targeting devices (i.e. INOD BLK III, AN/PVS-30)
