- This opportunity has been canceled under solicitaiton #: AG-02RC-S-17-0038 (East Side Acquistion Team Area Account) and is hereby readvertised under the Idaho Montana Acquisition Team Area Account under solicitation #: AG-02RC-S-17-0043. Opportunity Request for Quote for Road Maintenance Competitive ID/IQ. Consisting of a base and one optional year commitment. The Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forest will be advertising a ID/IQ with the potential for up to six awardees for FY2017 and FY2018. Work items will cover three zones on the Forest. Task Orders will be competed amongst the six awarded vendors. Orders will be awarded for only the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest three zones. Each vendor must be active within www.SAM.gov to be considered responsive at the time of award. a. Description of Work. 1. SLIDE REPAIR: The services covered in this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform slide repair on roads specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. Road slide removal/ repair will consist of removing upslope/cut bank slides and repairing road prism embankment failures. 2. ROAD BLADING: The contractor shall perform road maintenance blading that will result in the proper mix of aggregates and fines to maintain aggregates on the road way, the elimination of ruts and chuckholes, maintenance and functionality of ditch-lines and water diversion structures, and removal of rocks, limbs and other debris from the road prism while preserving vegetation that serves to prevent or moderate erosion from runoff. The services covered in this contract include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform road maintenance blading on roads specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this contract. 3. CUTTING ROADSIDE VEGETATION: The services covered in this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform machine roadside brushing on roads specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. 4. PLUGGED DRAINAGE STRUCTURE MAINTENANCE: The services covered in this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform plugged drainage structure maintenance on drainage structure specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. Plugged Drainage Structure Maintenance, will consist of removing obstructions from the drainage structures. 5. SNOW PLOWING: The services covered in this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform snow plowing on roads specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to remove wet heavy and packed snow up to 5 feet in depth from the travel way in an efficient manner. The travel way width shall be defined for each road, for each task order. 6. AGGREGATE SURFACE REPLACEMENT: The services covered in this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform aggregate surface replacement on roads specified herein, in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. This work will consist of hauling, processing, and placing crushed aggregate surface from a USFS source.
