Description

The purpose of this Amendment is to provide the Questions & Answers for Solicitation VA256-17-Q-0382. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Do you need incident light or just transmitted? The SOW calls for transmitted light however if the vendor has a product that they feel offers a better solution they are more than welcome to submit that as well. Do you need phase contrast objective? The provided solution must be capable of utilizing the following observation methods at a minimum Fluorescence Blue/Green, Fluorescence UV, Differential Interference contrast, phase contrast, simple polarized light, brightfield, and dark field. What basic filter sets do you need for the fluorescence; basic blue, basic green and UV? Please provide all options. Will these microscopes be used by technicians for quick QC checks or for diagnostic use/pathologist use? The requested microscopes will be utilized as clinical microscopes meaning that they will be utilized as diagnostic instruments.
