- This is published as sole source announcement under the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and regulatory authority at FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Division E, Tobyhanna Branch, Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna, PA 18466, intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation, 497 Electronics Parkway, Building 5, Liverpool, New York 13088-6062. The proposed contract is for manufactured AN/TPS-59A(V)3 Radar System Subassemblies. These subassemblies are classified as Initial Issue Provisioning (IIP) parts and will be purchased by Tobyhanna Army Depot and distributed to the Marine Corps Repairable Issue Points (RIPs) in order to support the AN/TPS-59A(V)3 Radar fleet. The following is a complete list of the required items. Delivery is required within 18 months from date of award. 1.) QTY: 7, Part Number: 77E305184G1, Description: Exciter Output Amplifier Assembly, 7.) QTY: 7, Part Number: 77E305156G1, Description: Multiplier Frequency Assembly, 8.) Lockheed Martin is the only known supplier with the established proprietary manufacturing procedures, test assets, test procedures and test program sets to enable delivery of the required items within their operational performance specification limits. The Government does not own a technical data package suitable for competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responsible firms believing they can provide the items identified in this notice should within fifteen (15) days of this notice, contact in writing the Contract Specialist identified below, and submit a capability statement describing the product's capability to meet the Government's requirement, which will be reviewed for consideration.
