- Description
- The Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and the Army Contracting Command-Rock Island, IL (ACC-RI), are currently seeking sources for the manufacture and delivery of.300 WinMag Mk248 Mod 0 Ammunition cartridges (DODIC: A191) and.300 WinMag Mk248 Mod 1 Ammunition cartridges (DODIC: AB43). The cartridges are used for precision sniper applications in both the M2010 and MK13 weapons. Specifications: The Mk248 Mod 0 and Mk248 Mod 1 cartridges shall be procured to detailed specifications. The.300 WinMag Mk248 Mod 0 Ammunition cartridges; DODIC: A191 Detailed Specification number is DS/4083/C03/1312F, Distribution Statement C, dated 30 Jan 2013. Distribution is authorized to U.S. Government Agencies and their contractors (For Administrative Use) (07 April 2007). Other requests for this document shall be referred to Commander, NAVSURFWARDECDIV Crane, 300 Highway 361, CODE 4083 Bldg. 2521, Crane, IN 47522-5001. The.300 WinMag Mk248 Mod 1 Ammunition cartridges; DODIC: AB43 detailed specification number is 8330252 REV A DS/JXNN/C08/1604B, Distribution Statement A, dated 17 March 2010. Distribution is approved for public release. A copy of the detailed specification will be provided upon request to the point of contact below. Planned Acquisition: The Government contemplates an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Fiscal Years (FY) 19-24 for this acquisition (five years from date of award). The estimated quantity to be procured for each fiscal year is up to 1M-1.5M of each cartridge configuration or a combination of both cartridges at a production rate of 125,000 per month per cartridge type. Award is planned to be made in 2QFY19. Submission Information: All responsible and interested sources should submit their capabilities and qualification data for each of the.300 WinMag cartridge configurations. The respondent must demonstrate and provide valid documentation that they have the ability to produce a minimum total of 1,500,000, of each cartridge type, annually. Submittal of this information is requested via electronic mail only, by the submission date of this notice.
