Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses, including 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturers, or distributors of small business manufacturers, or veteran-owned small businesses capable of providing the exact match or functionally equivalent equipment to the following Abbott products: i-STAT Blood Analyzer (04P75-01) i-STAT Downloader Recharger Kit (04P73-04) i-STAT Electronic Simulator (06F11-01) System is a bedside POC blood analyzer and must meet the following salient characteristics: Measure levels of Troponin, chemistry, and hemoglobin Interface with VA CPRS system Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this or similar product. Please include your business size with your submittal. If providing a submittal and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer) contractors shall also submit proof of authorization to distribute from the manufacturer of the offered equipment. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Responses are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on March 14th, 2017.
