Description
Contractor Visit Request Instructions One Day Pass This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The RFQ number is N50054-17-R0006. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/ and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html. The NAICS code is 337211 and the Small Business Standard is 1000. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside determination. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the delivery and installation of a frameless, glass wall partition, creating an office space for MARMC records management personnel. The glass office space shall be defined by three (3) new glass wall partitions abutted to an existing wall as the (4 th ) side. Glass wall partitions shall have two entrances with lockable sliding doors. The turn-key project will require all interested vendors to participate in a MARMC site visit. REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Dimensions: The tempered glass wall shall be configured in a U shape. Two (2) sections of side walls approximately 15' 7" long, with an additional (1) section approximately 38'long. These combined for a total of approximately sixty eight (68) linear feet of contiguous glass wall. 2. Doors: The Office Space shall have two (ingress/egress) lockable sliding doors. One shall be located on a 15' 7" wall side and one located on the 38' wall. 3. Ceiling: Office space shall utilize existing ceiling as the top for enclosed glass structure. The existing ceiling is acoustical drop tiles with a height of 127". 4. Additional Requirements: a. The top of glass wall partitions are to have a maximum of 8" opening from the ceiling to allow for air flow. b. An 8" fire main pipe runs perpendicular to the glass wall partition along the 38' section and is located just below the acoustical ceiling. c. Glass wall partitions to have privacy frosted bands extending across the partitions. d. Finishes and Trim: TBD e. Contractor to furnish proposed drawing(s) with quote. 5. MANDATORY Site Visit: Please see Attachments (CONTRACTOR VISIT REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS and One Day Pass) for access to LF-18 and Naval Station Norfolk. **Note: This will NOT be a classified site visit** A Site Visit will be conducted on Tuesday 21 March, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
