- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) has a requirement for TL Open Posterior fixation (3-level) instrumentation for a L4-L5 surgery case. Per the patient's anatomy, the instrumentation shall be able to provide immobilization and stabilization in the spinal segments in skeletally mature patients. Also the requirement needs to include a variety of screws to pick from with the ability to lock into a variety of different configurations as the surgeon deems necessary for the patient. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N0025917Q0094. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
