Description
SUBJECT: Army Contracting Command-Warren plans to issue a competitive solicitation for the procurement, packaging and installation of existing Bradley ECP1 technologies into Bradley Fighting Vehicles. It is the Government's intent to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed-Price contract using Full and Open Competition. Best Value Trade-off will be used for evaluating the proposals received. DESCRIPTION: The Bradley ECP1 effort increases mobility and restores lost ground clearance, increasing vehicle survivability and reliability with improved torsion bars, dampers, track, road arms, final drives and sprocket carriers. This ECP1 procurement and installation contract is for procurement, packaging and installation of T-161 Track Kits, Torsion Bar Kits, Shock Kits, Road Arm Assembly Kits, Final Drive Kits, and Sprocket Carrier Kits onto Bradley vehicles. The effort also includes minor logistics support such as performing joint inspections with the units; assisting the Government in joint New Material Introduction Brief (NMIB) to unit representatives; developing, maintaining, and delivering a Material Requirements List (MRL); performing a 5 mile road test, and dispositioning material removed from the vehicles. The estimated release date for the solicitation is April 2017.
