Past Performance Questionnaire Statement of Objectives SF1449 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 1131PL-17-R-SA41064 PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR MORE INFORMATION. SUBJECT: COMBINE SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Project Finance Training SOLICITATION NO.: 1131PL-17-R-SA41064 ISSUANCE DATE: March 10, 2017 CLOSING DATE: March 27, 2017, 9:00 AM, local Arlington, VA Time Summary of Requirement: The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) requires services under this non-personal services Contract to provide training services to a group of up to 35 program/project development staff at the Agency's headquarters in Arlington, VA. The Contractor for this activity shall develop a two-day training program covering key project finance fundamentals, aspects, and techniques related to large infrastructure project development in emerging economies. The program shall be conducted over two consecutive business days, shall not exceed 15 hours in total training hours, and shall be tailored to the USTDA mission and its goals (please refer to https://www.ustda.gov/about/mission for more information). The objective of this training is to help advance the Agency staff's overall knowledge and understanding of project finance fundamentals and techniques in order to strengthen USTDA's development of project preparation activities. USTDA helps companies create U.S. jobs through the export of goods and services for priority development projects in partner countries. The Agency funds early project preparation activities, including feasibility studies, technical assistance, and pilot projects, and also brings foreign buyers to the United States through its Reverse Trade Missions. Understanding how projects are evaluated and rated by financiers is a critical competency for Agency staff and will assist staff in the evaluation of the viability of future proposed projects. More information about USTDA's work can be found here: https://www.ustda.gov/program.
