Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is for gathering information for market research. Sources sought for the work outlined herein and capable of providing a firm-fixed price. The work will be performed on-site at Fort Sam Houston. If capable please provide at least the following: • DUNS number: • Cage Code: • Federal Tax ID: • Email Address: • Phone Number: • Name of person quoting (signature if faxing): This RFI does NOT constitute an invitation to bid or Request for Quote, nor should it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. The information received WILL NOT obligate the Government in any manner nor will the Government reimburse companies for any costs associated with submittal of this RFI. Summary of Work: Allow access to electronic web-based materials and training to support new graduate nurses as they transition into their first professional role as a care giver in an acute care hospital setting. Core content focuses on three (3) critical areas: leadership, patient outcomes and professional role. 1.1.1. Provide electronic curriculum which includes content outlines, reference and resource lists, case studies and other related resources, including program implementation guidelines. 1.1.2. Provide access to electronic files that can be customized to incorporate site specific policies and procedures. 1.1.3. Perform an annual review of curriculum and update/revise content as necessary but at least every three (3) years. 1.1.4. Provide a one (1) day Train-the-Trainer session for each site's program coordinator and one (1) additional representative. If there is a change in staff, up to two (2) new coordinators may attend training in subsequent years. Train-the-Trainer sessions occur at the Contractor's training site. 1.1.5. Provide regularly scheduled conference calls, email list servers, and phone consultation/mentoring to support site coordinators and staff. 1.1.6. Provide an annual user group meeting that includes two (2) organization representatives. The meeting will provide opportunities to spotlight innovations, share best practices, network with peers, and provide input to program development. 1.1.7. The Contractor shall provide a bi-annual nurse resident newsletter that fosters communication among residency participants, highlights nurse resident achievements and enhances organizational understanding of the program. 1.1.8. Provide periodic NRP Webcasts on nursing topics of interest (e.g. clinical best practice topics, professionalism, career development, lateral violence, generational issues) for staff and residents. 1.1.9. Provide annual individual and aggregate organizational progress and performance reports. 1.1.10. Provide bi-annual interim reporting on key data indicators to highlight opportunities for program improvement. Applicable Information. By submitting a response, each respondent agrees that any and all costs the respondent incurs in responding to this request or in support of activities associated with it shall be the sole responsibility of respondent. The Government shall incur no obligations or liabilities to anyone for any costs or expenses incurred by the respondent in responding to this RFI. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future RFQ/RFP. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government or the respondent. As such, to the extent that any information submitted in response to this RFI is marked as, or construed to be proprietary or business-sensitive, respondents are hereby notified (a) about the potential that such information may be disclosed to third parties and (b) that submission of information in response to this RFI constitutes consent to such handling and disclosure of submitted information.
