THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIZING AN UPCOMING COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION SATISFYING THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 5.201 AND 5.203 AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT APRIL 3, 2017. Install Patient Lifts in Congregate Bathrooms, Canandaigua VA Medical Center VA242-17-B-0343 The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement to provide for the installation of patient safety lifts in multiple bathrooms in buildings 7 and 8. The work will include, but not limited to, field survey/measurements, mechanical and electrical, testing, disposal and site restoration. All work will be accomplished on the Canandaigua VAMC site as indicated in the plans, specifications, and drawings under project number 528A5-17-522. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
