Description
Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) The MACC is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract including, but not limited to, the following construction disciplines/categories: electrical, mechanical, painting, engineering/design, paving (asphaltic and concrete), flooring (tile work/carpeting), roofing, structural repair, fencing installation, HVAC, and fire suppression/protection system installation. All work shall be accomplished in strict adherence to the contract documents and industry or regulatory standards, identified by individual Task Orders. The performance locations are Sheppard AFB and Lake Texoma, Texas; and, Altus AFB and Frederick Airfield, Oklahoma. 82d Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing the following: Description of Work: The contractor shall furnish all management, personnel, vehicles, supplies, equipment, etc. required to perform work. The general scope of the requirements will be to perform multiple task orders at one time, conducting repair and renovation of buildings. Work may include any of the following list: repair or replacement of mechanical, electrical or fire protection and detection systems; concrete; asphalt; repairs related to building renovation or demolition; interior remodel work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering; renovation of historic structures; repair or replacement of infrastructure systems; correction of drainage problems; repair or upgrade of structural problems, including seismic upgrades; repair or replacement of roofing, siding, windows, doors or other miscellaneous architectural elements, etc., at Sheppard AFB, including the Lake Texoma Annex, Texas; and Altus AFB and Frederick Airfield, Oklahoma. Work may be accomplished in different types of facilities including: administrative, industrial, warehouses, hangars, etc. This acquisition will require a contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing multiple task orders simultaneously, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades. The Military Family Housing at Sheppard AFB is privatized and excluded from the scope of this effort. The selected contractor will be required to hold all applicable licenses, permits and/or certificates, and any other items necessary to perform work; and will be responsible for insuring that any subcontractors hold the same. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information, planning purposes, and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition. No Award will be made from this sources sought. A solicitation may be available in late 2017; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation at this time. The United States Air Force is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. This acquisition is being considered to be Set-Aside for eligible 8(a) Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 and the small business size standard is $15.0 Million. Period of performance will be for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods, estimated to start 1 October 2018. All interest and qualified sources should notify this office by e-mail. Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All cost associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents. Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned. No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought.
