Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to modify an existing contract to maintain support services to include management, business, and technical support services for Real Time Location Systems, Project Management Office. TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price modification to Sigma Health Consulting (Sigma), LLC 204 Eldrid Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The period of performance is for this action is March 11, 2017 through May 10, 2017. The proposed modification is for the continuation of support services for RTLS which includes management, business, and technical support services. The North American Industrial Classification for this effort is 541513. This notification shall close on March 14, 2017.
