Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) unless otherwise noted herein. The NJ Army National Guard wishes to rent portable laundry facilities in 7 locations at Fort Pickett, VA. The supplier should provide service or maintenance and supervision of laundry unit placement and/or replacement or removal. It will be necessary for the supplier to set up, install, maintain, take down, and transport all laundry units and peripherals to and from the training sites upon completion. The supplier is responsible to deliver and fill each laundry facility with water. The supplier must also supervise and conduct the removal of gray water or waste water from the laundry units. The supplier is also required to stay to the end of the contract for disassembly, closing out contracts, and removal of equipment. 2. Laundry facilities. The supplier shall be responsible for setup and assembly of the laundry units to meet the following specifications for their respective locations: -Laundry capacity. Each laundry unit at each location shall accommodate personnel numbers as indicated on a continuous 24-hour basis. Each laundry unit shall have lighting to allow personnel to see adequately while using the facility during limited natural light hours. There shall be external lighting on the laundry unit to allow for safe movement into and from the unit. -Power generation. Each laundry facility shall have a power generation source (generator). Each laundry facility shall have hot and cold running water and proper lighting. Power generation is essential. The supplier must provide maintenance to the power generation as well as the laundry facility internal operation and controls. -Power distribution. Each specified laundry facility shall have electrical outlets. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide adequate electrical outlets. -Maintenance. The supplier shall be responsible for the 24-hour maintenance of the laundry facility's plumbing, lighting, and power generation units. -Fuel. The supplier will provide standard, diesel fuel for the generators at each location -Water. The supplier will ensure adequate water storage for fresh and grey water at each location and will deliver and refill fresh water and remove grey water for proper disposal. Water will supplied and discharged through Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) with Fort Pickett. -Maintenance. The supplier must provide 24-hour service and support to all power generation units. Only personnel authorized and certified by the contractor may perform maintenance on the equipment owned by the contractor. -Placement. A representative from the supported site will be on hand to assist the supplier with specific placement of the laundry units. -Quality control. The supplier shall follow the quality standards as established by federal, state, and local government. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of solicitation. This requirement is classified under NAICS code IS 812320. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
