Description
Draft Statement of Work This sources sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) PGI 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division (NSWC Corona) intends to award on a sole source basis to Astronics Test Systems Inc., 12889 Ingenuity Drive, Orlando, FL 32826 for the following: •Virtual Instrument Portable Equipment Repair Tester (VIPER/T) Electro-Optic (E/O) Variant, AN/USM-717(V)4 -- Build-to-print in accordance with Attachment 1 Drawing Package_15011A0000 (VIPER/T). A VIPER/T System's primary components are a primary, secondary and power distribution chassis', a standalone instrument fixture, and an instrument controller. The primary chassis consists of VXI C-size instrument cards: VXI-MXI interface cards, Frequency (Low, Medium and High) Switching cards, digital multimeter, and arbitrary waveform generator; the secondary chassis consists of VXI C-size instrument cards: counter-timer, function generator and sychro-resolver; the power distribution unit consists of VXI C-size power supplies: four (4) fixed and five (5) programmable. •VIPER/T Electro-Optic Subsystem (VEO2) -- Build-to-print in accordance with Attachment 2 Drawing Package_93006G70000 (VEO2 Subsystem). A VEO2 Subassembly's primary components are a collimator subsystem, retro-reflector optics and assembly, electro-optical subsystem, target wheel, and a Laser Range Receiver Sensitivity (LaRRS) Unit. This notice is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, stating specifically how their proposed products can meet the Government's requirements as identified in the attached Draft Statement of Work and Drawing Packages, which if received by 3 April 2017, shall be considered by NSWC Corona. *** NOTE: Interested parties shall contact the procurement specialist identified below to receive the Drawing Packages. Vendors are required to sign a "Technical Data Agreement" as a condition of receiving the Drawing Packages. Responses submitted by those who did not request the drawings are not acceptable and will not be considered. *** Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Kim Chu, via email at kim.t.chu@navy.mil no later than 12:00 pm PST on the date noted above. Email should reference Sources Sought Notice N6426717R0140 in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
