Description
Description: The Office of the Project Manager for Close Combat Systems (OPM-CCS) and the Army Contracting Command -New Jersey (ACC-NJ) are currently seeking sources to execute the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of the Spider Increment 1 A (SI1A) along with contractor testing support for the SI1A. The anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) for this effort is 18 months. The SI1A is an enhanced Remote Control Unit (RCU) that will be used by a soldier to operate the M7 Spider Increment 1. The M7 Spider Increment 1 system is a hand em-placed, remotely controlled, Man-in-the-Loop (MITL) anti-personnel munition system. The SI1A system is required to operate seamlessly with existing M7 Spider Increment 1 mission command systems and to be backwards compatible with the M7 Spider Increment 1 system. A Technical Data Package (TDP) is not available for the SI1A. Requested Information: Interested respondents who feel they are capable of performing the LRIP of the SI1A shall provide the following information: - Level of experience and understanding of working with Remote Control Units for hand em-placed, remotely controlled, Man-in-the-Loop (MITL) anti-personnel munition systems. -Level of experience in conducting the Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) of Remote Control Units for hand em-placed, remotely controlled, Man-in-the-Loop (MITL) anti-personnel munition systems. -Level of Experience in conducting the LRIP of Remote Control Units for hand emplaced, remotely controlled, Man-in-the-Loop (MITL) anti-personnel munition systems.
