Description
a.Base Bid: Contractor will need to install a new perimeter fence highlighted in "red" as shown in the drawings (attached separately) estimating (~1,436 lf). 1.The contractor will need to install the new perimeter fence prior to removing the existing fence in order maintain a secured perimeter. 2.Contractor will need to grub the fence line prior to installing the perimeter posts. 3.Contractor will need to survey the site to assure the fence is straight and also to provide accurate survey points for As-Builts. 4.The new fence shall allow for a 12 foot drive path on the east boundary between the drainage swale and the new fence. The fence shall also be placed at least 12 lf away from the road to the south of the site and follow the natural contours. 5.The contractor will need to install the perimeter post spaced every 10 feet in concrete at a height of 8 ft. 6. Contractor will need to install 11 ga. Chain link along the perimeter. 7.Contractor will also need to install 1" galvanized chicken wire buried at a depth of 2 ft below finished grade and also extend up about 1' on the new perimeter fence. 8.Contractor will need to place three strands of barbed wire at the top of the perimeter fence. 9.Once the new perimeter fence is installed the contractor will need to remove the section of old fence by removing the poles and backfilling the holes with fill dirt found on site, rolling up the old chain link fence, rolling up the old barbed wire and removing as much as possible the old chicken wire that is buried.
