- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is seeking qualified sources that can provide an accredited secure service to transport and store IT media in an off site location in accordance with DOD regulations to meet distance separation requirements for security controls associated with disaster recovery. Specifically, provide strong boxes within which NSWCPD will place IT media containing backup and disaster recovery data that can be used to reconstruct IT operations in the event of a situation resulting in the significant loss of data or IT operation capabilities. The boxes should be strong and will be transported by two individuals with positively adjudicated security clearance to a secure storage facility. Transport activities will be scheduled no more than twice per month for a period of 12 months or longer. The procurement is anticipated to be firm fixed price (FFP), Simplified Acquistition Procedur es (SAP), 100% Small Business Set Aside. This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP), invitation for bid (IFB), or an announcement of a solicitation as no solicitation package exists at this time. The request is for informational purposes only. No cost data should be submitted. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this Sources Sought notice or any follow-up information requests. Submittals will not be returned to the sender. NSWCPD will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning purposes. All responses must be submitted via e-mail to Elizabeth G. Rainey no later than close of business 24 March 2017.
