Combined synopsis/solicitation Packaging Report Performance Work Statement Transportation Data Report CDRL A0001-A0006 QASP This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8539-17-R-0009 (see attachment), as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes a comb synopsis/solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued outside of the current attachment. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Robins AFB-PZABA anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the repair of APN-169 system components. (IEI) Cage: 50218 The intended source for the acquisition is accordance with FAR 6-302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. This solicitation is not a small business set-aside. The data or the rights to use the data needed to repair this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government. VENDOR PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS Military Packaging and Marking Items shall be packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1, Standard Practice for Military Packaging. Shipping and storage markings shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129, Standard Practice for Military Marking. Shipping Container Marking Shipping containers shall be marked meeting the following criteria: (a) MIL-STD-129, Standard Practice for Military Marking. (b) Bar code format shall conform to bar code symbology Format 3 of 9, Code 39 as specified in MILSTD-129. (c.) Additional marking and/or bar coding requirements exceeding those of MIL-STD-129 (e.g., unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) name, or OEM model number, as specified on the AFMC Form 158.
