- Title: Furnish/Replace and Install Exterior Facility Mounted Lighting Fixtures; Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. This is a Sources Sought announcement for the purpose of obtaining market research, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS, NOR A PROPOSED SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information. No Solicitation is currently available. The responses to this Sources Sought will help to shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. a. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested U.S. Firms who are capable of meeting the Government's minimum requirements to supply the products listed herein, and to address any questions, recommendations, or concerns from Industry. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition planning decisions. The proposed requirements are manufactured and supplied under the following North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 335122; Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing. b. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District (NWS) intends to replace approximately 500 existing exterior mounted lighting fixtures, and replace lamps on approximately 53 additional exterior mounted lighting fixtures on approximately 54 buildings throughout Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho; to provide all required mountings in connection with the new fixtures; and to restore exterior finishes to match existing as necessary. Use of universal voltage type ballast light fixtures is recommended. c. Project shall be provided in support of the installation's efforts to reduce energy, greenhouse gas emissions, utilities costs, and comply with all applicable energy related federal laws and Executive Orders, such as the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT 2005), Executive Order 13423 "Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management" and the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) of 2007. Place of Performance: Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Response Information: Interested firms should submit a capabilities package limited to five (5) pages and include the following: 1) Firm's name, address (mailing and URL), point of contact, phone number, email address, business category, business size, and business type. 2) Business classification; i.e. Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Small Business, 8(a) Program, or Other. 3) Three to five (3 to 5) examples of similar contracts/orders executed by your firm. 4) Cage code and DUNS number of your firm. 5) Firm's Joint Venture Information (if applicable). 6) Responses to this Sources Sought will only be shared with the Government project team and held in strict confidence.
