- Construction Project: Little Goose Booms & Barriers. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract located at Little Goose Dam (Dayton, Washington). Estimated construction magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000; and 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. Summary Scope of Work: This project is to construct a boat barrier and replace the existing trash shear boom. SPILLWAY BOAT BARRIER Furnish material, provide equipment, and provide labor to install a boat barrier in the forebay in front of the spillway at Little Goose Dam. Furnish modular high-buoyancy cylindrical floats and required fasteners to serve as the boat barrier. Installation will include setting anchors in the riverbed and placing cables to hold the boat barrier positioning floats in position. TRASH SHEAR BOOM Furnish all material, provide all equipment and provide labor to repair and replace the trash shear and log boom in the forebay in front of the powerhouse at Little Goose Dam. Repair and replacement of all items required for the trash shear and log boom, as specified and approved. Repair of the existing components will include repairing damaged concrete on existing float sections, re-coating float sections with a waterproof high performance coating, replacing all connecting hardware as required, and other actions as specified and approved. Deployment of the trash shear boom will require securing repaired floats to existing anchors and installing a new anchor on the riverbed. Replacing the log boom will require supplying modular high buoyancy cylindrical floats and required fasteners to replace the existing log boom and attaching the new boom to existing floats and/or dam structures. Installation will need to be completed during the in-water work window, December 15, 2017 - March 1, 2018. Solicitation Number W912EF-17-B-0003 will be posted to the FBO website approximately the end of March or beginning of April, 2017. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid. To request clearance, please submit the names of all foreign nationals proposed for site visit attendance, along with documentation to verify that he/she was legally admitted into the United States and has authority to work and/or go to school in the US. Such documentation may include a US passport, Certificate of US citizenship (INS Form N-560 or N-561), Certificate of Naturalization (INS Form N-550 or N-570), foreign passport with I-551 stamp or attached INS Form I-94 indicating employment authorization, Alien Registration Receipt Card with photograph (INS Form I-151 or I-551), Temporary Resident Card (INS Form I-688), Employment Authorization Card (INS Form I-688A), Reentry Permit (INS Form I-327), Refugee Travel Document (INS Form I-571), Employment Authorization Document issued by the INS which contains a photograph (INS Form I-688B).
