THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO L-3 TECHNOLOGIES, INC., UNDER N00164-16-G-JT15. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to issue a Job Order (JO) under a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-16-G-JT15. The BOA was issued to L-3 Technologies, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT. Acquisitions under the BOA have been and will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition was the lack of sufficient technical data, restricted software rights, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. As a result of this JO the overall contract ceiling for BOA N00164-16-G-JT15 will remain unchanged. This JO is in support of PMA-290 Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) and will provide for the Test, Teardown and Evaluation/Repair of 2 each of L-3 Vortex Transceiver Modules, P/N 60065293-001. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to L-3 Technologies, Inc., through electronic mail.
