Project Description PROJECT: WA PFH 29-1(5), Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road Slope Stabilization, King County, Washington LOCATION: 6.3 miles east of North Bend, WA WORK: The project's primary objective is to widen and pave a 350 foot length of roadway. The work consists of grubbing, rock blasting, road excavation, pinned draped wire mesh, base aggregate, hot asphalt concrete pavement, and striping. It is estimated that approximately 42% of the work will be pinned draped wire mesh. It is estimated that 18% of the work will be grubbing, roadway excavation, and base aggregate. The other types of work, and mobilization, are estimated to make up the remaining percentage of work. LENGTH: 350 ft. TENTATIVE COMPLETION DATE: August 2017 ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. To view the INTERESTED VENDORS LIST you must register as an FBO user. Go to https://www.fbo.gov/. THIS WILL BE A WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Eligible small business firms; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. The Maximum line of credit is $750,000. The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate.
